![]() It slipped back into the trees with a roar that shook the air itself and disoriented us all. The behemoth seemed to be everywhere and nowhere all at once.” Source: In-game description, “Death from the Shadows”ĭepending on your build or weapon of choice, you can tackle the Quillshot from melee range, while looking for the stun, or shoot from afar while dogging the spikes. The Behemoth’s spikes can be easily broken to prevent it from using them later in the fight.īreaking the spikes will also leave it in a vulnerable state. Deadeye Quillshot: Vicious dye (slay heroic variant), Impaler Shard, Deadeye Spinehide, and all the previous drops.Įmbermane is the first encounter with a blaze behemoth in Dauntless.Quillshot: Quillshot Hide, Jagged Tailspike (sever tail), Dewspine (break leg), Quillshot Tusk (break head), Quillshard (break quills). The behemoths has two variants: the regular Quillshot can be found wandering around The Yonder Keys and Monstrous Verge, while the scary Deadeye Quillshot skulls around The Shattered Isles and the Maelstrom. It is also responsible for the destruction of many woodlands within the Shattered Isles. This monster is yet another hybrid between a puppy and a rhino. Thanks to it’s slender build, the Embermane is fast, agile, and almost impossible to pin down. The only way to stagger the Embermane is by booping it during its charge attack. This behemoth is always moving, scurrying back and forth while trying to launch the slayer into the air with its horns. To survive an encounter with an Embermane at lower levels slayers must time their boops and dodges perfectly.Īt later stages of the game the Embermane becomes incredibly easy to take down. Honestly, downing the Embermane feels like abusing a puppy, especially when it lets out cries of pain.Īny part of the Embermane’s body is breakable, but we advise caution when fighting melee because the behemoth will often perform a spinning attack using its tail. The Rogue Embermane wanders the Sheltered Frontier, the regular Embermane can be found in The Yonder Keys, and the Bloodfire Embermane lurks the Maelstrom zone.
